The Acoustic Trio Rocks The House At Naggy McGee’s
I played my first show in a long time this past weekend. Me, Michael Mauk, and Shea Bramer joined forces as an acoustic trio and treated the customers at Naggy McGee’s in downtown Grand Junction to a fun filled evening of great music.
On Saturday night we set up for the show inside the pub. Michael and I played acoustic guitar and Shea had a keyboard setup. There wasn’t a lot of room, but the layout was great. One of Shea’s friends, David Jergensen opened with a set on acoustic guitar. He sounded awesome.
After he finished, our acoustic trio took the stage. We played a wide array of acoustic covers, from the song “I Can’t Stand It” by Never Shout Never to Coldplay’s “Viva La Vida” and even Ke$ha’s “You’re Love Is My Drug.”
The crowd was very supportive, and from what I could tell from my vantage point everyone had a great time. I haven’t played my acoustic guitar much since I moved out to Grand Junction, at least not in a public setting. I loved the challenge of putting together a set list and the time it took to practice all the songs.
Thanks to everyone who came out and showed their support. Remember, we’re available for bar mitzvahs. 🙂
Yay! Oh, bravo, bravo! Encore!
Thanks Cherry!
Good to see you having fun wiyh your music!!!
